Polish jazz trumpeter and composer.

Graduate of the Academy of Music in Łódź (Poland).

Apprentice of Piotr Wojtasik, Hans-Peter Salentin, Adam Kawończyk, Andrzej Zubek.

A participant and laureate of many polish famous jazz festivals, including Jazz Juniors, Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa, Złota Tarka.

Artistic supervisor of the concert series "Jazz Meetings u Milscha" in Łódź (Poland).  Member and soloist of the "Fabryka Wełny" Big Band, with which he won the first prize "Grand Prix" at the XXIII Big Band Festival, Nowy Tomyśl 2018 (Poland).

For  his  work  and  musical  activitiy, he  was  awarded  the "Jazz Oscar" - the Award  ofthe City of Łódź for the Łódź  Best  Jazzman of 2018 and 2021.

In the annual "Jazz Top" survey of readers of the polish jazz magazine "Jazz Forum" - recognized as one of the ten leading Polish trumpeters of 2019 and 2021. In the survey music critics and journalists of the same magazine distinguished as one of leading trumpeters of 2022.

 

 

From 2006 to 2015, Piotr has gained his experience playing worldwide, at first on several European tours with polish musical theaters, later being involved in various music projects all over the world, and playing on many different scenes for an international audience.

 

 

After returning to Poland, he pursues his passions and ideas for music and composing in the jazz bands he founded:

Krzemiński Reunion Project; Krzemiński International Quartet and the newest The Latorre-Krzemiński-Skolik SPECIAL TRIO (whose album will soon appear on the market) and in other projects to which he is invited to cooperate both at concerts and in the studio.

 

 

Great opportunities to listen and explore jazz and other styles of music from all over the world, many years of experience playing worldwide and working with many musicians from different countries and continents, has had a crucial influence on Piotr's career, skills and perception of music.

Traveling the world has resulted in a wealth of inspiration and a wide perspective in his approach to the arrangement of jazz standards, the performance of contemporary jazz and composition.

 

 

He collaborates or had a pleasure to collaborate with such a famous artists as:

Elżbieta Adamiak, Michał Urbaniak, Bogusław Mec, Krystyna Prońko, Urszula Dudziak, Michel Legrand (France), Bill Prince (USA), Paul Baker (United Kingdom), Jack Jones (USA), Danny Couch (USA), Greg Bonham (USA), Ray Michaels (USA), Dave Latchaw (USA), and polish musical theatres: Music Theater in Gdynia and Teatr Rozrywki in Chorzów.
